UMOSAN CLASS 2005 Celebrating 25 years of togetherness
This year 2025 we shall be celebrating 25 years of togetherness i.e.since 2000 when we joined senior one class and the journey we have undertaken from the year 2000 and so many other friends that have joined us as we moved along and as well so many that left this life we acknowledge all of them as UMOSAN CLASS 2005.
We have furthered this great bond and developed it strong through various activities and events i.e continuous support of each other through bad times and good times and standing together through burials of loved ones, weeding / marriage events,Family Gathering invites,children baptisms/ birthdays invites, Corporate social responsibility to our members who are challenged in life and so many other events like our Annual Reunions, Umosan league while supporting our class team Kisengediiro etc.
We believe after 25 years we should be even stronger from just the few named events above but as well further our bond from just a mere bond to a legacy that we can leave behind for so many generations of our descendants to benefit from. We believe building a legacy doesn't come just on a silver plate however it comes from great ideas and principles of great men and women like we had in class of 2005. So if we all agree that after 25 years we should have a shift in the way we relate more focusing on value addition of all our members our the descendants then we have to lay great foundations to have this happen. We must all agree that there is power in numbers and there is power in coming together.
So dear UMOSANs class 2005 allow me to take you back to when we had just finished high school and Campus. We have tried not once or twice to come up with something that can relate with us financially, such as SACCOs, investment clubs and so on… remember days of MR, BIGS, we tried to form the Vanguard club,and tasked members to save as low as 15000 ugx, just like any start ups its failed , we did MUTASEKI with a few individuals and as well, its struggling ,SPROUT etc and as well putting all that aside we had other emerging investment club TCIF which we should surely further and have it sprout really out. Why do I give this background?
With the background above we all believe that , first that it's not by mistake we joined the same class of 2005, secondly we all believe depending on the facts above we have the same ideology of being great financial powers but not just individually but as a group. Since we all want to see each other win in UMOSAN CLASS 2005, it's not by mistake we have been a model class even after we left so many years back. It's been GOD and our shared vision as a class that wants to win always together. With such great minds and bonds I believe it's what can take us to great heights and no one can stand in our way.
So we do all believe we have a lot ahead of us to keep this bond and build the legacy we all admire and want to see in our old age and sit back and smile that we did it. So this I believe starts with us and we should have even started by yesterday. Without losing focus we must all agree that we can never be at the same footing in life and even our hands can never be the same, with all due respect we should also agree that even our financial muscles can never be the same. Having it in mind we should also know the difficulties most start ups face and we should keep strong and with positive mindsets if we want us to get to the legacy we want to build. For the teams that have sacrificed always to see that we move in this direction all your sacrifices are much appreciated and please don't tire of keeping the candle burning and we hold you with a very high esteem. Lets all keep a positive mindset however much we may be challenged we are moving in the right direction.
